Concentrics Series

This contemporary series of wall sconces offers a simple but elegant solution to ambient lighting for home or commercial applications. A contrast of colors is presented in this original and unique series of wall sconces that incorporate antique glass lenses and a variety of neon colors combined with brushed aluminum. While the standard finish is brushed aluminum, other options are available.

neo-Antique Series

The neo-Antique wall sconces incorporate antique glass lighting shades with neon and brushed aluminum, stainless steel or copper to create a series of unique wall sconces that offer the beauty and detailing of antique glass in a contemporary design.

Sizes of the sconces vary but the brushed aluminum backs are usually either 16″, 20″ or 24″ in diameter and the stainless steel and the copper mountings are 16″ in diameter. They are available for indoor and outdoor applications.

Borealis Series

The Borealis series of sconces consist of a neon circle sandwiched between a disc of brushed aluminum and a shallow bowl-shaped glass form made from flat glass heat-slumped in a kiln. These contemporary wall sconces may be used as lighting fixtures for indoor and outdoor use. The colors may vary considerably depending on the neon or glass chosen.

Borealis Series
Version 2

The Borealis Version 2 series of sconces incorporate hand formed blown glass forms instead of the thinner slumped glass forms of the original Borealis series. This technique allows for a more stable center hole mounting and greater variation in colors and patterns. The discs are also now also available in gold leaf.

Borealis Variations Series

Variations of the Borealis sconces are often made using irregular forms of neon and/or glass, sometimes strategically exposing the neon tube in simple organic forms.

moonDiscs Series

The moonDisc consists of a round disc of brushed aluminum back lit with blue neon and a frontal brushed aluminum crescent “moon” with a sandwiched white neon tube casting its glow on the aluminum disc. A popular sconce, it offers a pleasing and romantic glow that complements the living environment.

discScapes Series

The discScapes consist of a round disc of brushed aluminum and a frontal brushed aluminum “landscape” with sandwiched neon casting its glow on the aluminum disc. In the background is a glass lens “sun” or “moon” backlit with neon.

Hana Series

The Hana are made with blown glass and illuminated with an LED light in th bofy with a single neon tube. Reminiscent of the Jellyfish, these flower-like pieces continue the theme of the Venusian World sculpture collection.

Venusian Floritas Series

The Venusian Florita is a wall sconce based in the Venusian World Sculpture Collection. It is suggestive of a luminescent plant from a fantasy Venus and no two are exactly the same. The metal is brushed aluminum and the hand-blown neon tube varies in size, shape and colors. The neon tube is held in a pyrex “socket” and is easily removed for shipping or cleaning.

Whimsy Series

The Whimsy series are works of unique, individual neon units hand-manipulated in whimsical fashion. Many variations are available in different sizes and with different mountings.

American FlagLights Series

While making its obvious patriotic statement, the design of the “American Flag Light” also offers an aesthetic, abstract statement as well. It consists of a single neon tube in alternating colors of red, white and blue. The colors are especially rich in tone as they are obtained using ruby red and cobalt blue colored glass tubing. The “American Flag Light” is lightweight and designed to be mounted indoors or outdoors, vertical or horizontal. It is bright and will be visible at quite a distance, even in rainy or foggy weather, although a dimmer version is available if so desired. The “American Flag Light” is available mounted on white or black plexiglas or brushed aluminum and custom sizes or mountings are available.

The “American Flag Light” is appropriate for home.or business, on the front of a building or in a window or transom. It makes a bold statement that is both patriotic as well as aesthetic.

Ichi Series

The Ichi series of wall sconces is a simple design based on the the concept of singularity and “Ichi”, the Japanese word for “one.” They are available in any color of neon and the aluminum can be painted white, black or a variety of translucent colors that allow the brushed finish of the aluminum to show through. Depending on the choice of neon and aluminum finish, the Ichi can be bold and brilliant or soft and subdued.The sconces are very light weight and easily mounted. As with any neon tube, the Ichi is expected to last for many years without requiring any change out of the tube.

Linear Series

The Linear Series of sconces is a simple but elegant series of sconces sporting rich hues seldom seen in lighting. The pieces incorporate a neon unit trans-illuminating a linear window of resin.

The series includes units come in lengths of either 18″, 24″ or 36.” Currently the series only includes one color, a rich magenta/fuchsia, but other colors are in the making.

Squares Series

The Square Series is another simple but elegant series of sconces sporting rich hues seldom seen in lighting. The pieces incorporate a neon unit trans-illuminating squares of resin.
