Main Gallery

Occupying the second floor, the Main Gallery provides an eyeful of the wide range of numerous sculptures displayed against the backdrop of 35 ft vaulted cypress ceilings and red pine floors. Many of the major VG artworks are prominently displayed here, including 16 Venusian Jellyfish suspended overhead. Massive two story windows provide full daylight lighting during the day but the space really comes alive as the sun goes down and the colorful glows of all the luminous artwork contribute to a truly magical and stimulating ambience.

As a functional space for events, the Main Gallery offers an unforgettable environment for weddings and other special celebrations. The Catering Kitchen and two bathrooms occupy the rear of the main exhibition space and are partitioned off for privacy. There is a stairwell and an elevator to access the second and third floor. The Rear Gallery at the back end of the Main Gallery provides an auxiliary space to support a caterer’s presentation of food and beverages or a staging area for performers. All three of the third floor loft spaces have full views of the activities of the Main Gallery. The acoustic environment in both the Main Gallery and the third floor lofts is excellent, especially with live musicians performing on the Piano Loft overhead.
