Venusian Gardens offers a wide variety of entertainers to enhance events at Venusian Gardens. Be it a strolling violinist, a string quartet, a jazz combo, or rock and rollers, we can provide some of the finest musical entertainment New Orleans has to offer. The acoustics of the gallery space provides a rich sound environment to enhance the music experience. Additionally,we work closely with Carl Mack Presents, a local entertainment company that provides a range of creative performers including “Pop-Ups” to stimulate the guests of any event. For the adventurous, we also work with performance artists who can “set the stage” so that a wedding or other ceremony can become a performance entertainment event itself.
Musicians
A wide range of local musicians performing a full range of music styles is available, Classic musicians including individual harpists, string quartets and opera singers can provide an ambiance of elegance to events. Performances can be limited, full length or simply spotlighted as “Pop-Ups” in which the performer spontaneously engages the guest milieu to briefly highlight the event.

Performers & “Pop-Ups”
Creative performers can define an event and leave lasting impressions that color the memories of your guests. At VG we encourage our hosts to be imaginative in their choices of performers and bring something new and unexpected to their guests. Break from the ordinary!
“Pop-Ups” are just like they sound – they can pop up into a live event, seemingly out of nowhere, and immediately capture the attention of their audience. They can underscore a theme of an event for example by bringing Mardi Gras to the guests by engaging a parade or second line, along with revelers, Mardi Gras Indians, Jesters and Showgirls.
For a taste of New Orleans’s Ann Rice, include some Vampires and Antebellum characters in your party to tingle the spines of your guests while an entrancing temptress in a champagne dress provides some bubbly.
The amazing dancing “Mirror Man” is awesome to view as he flits about dancing like a ghostly mirage amongst the party-goers. And for a magical touch, let the Angels and Fairies join the event.

Second Line Parades
For those who TRULY want to take their event to the max, not only is costume rental available but we can create a New Orleans style second line parade! This can really maximize the celebration of any event, corporate, weddings, anniversaries, bachelorette, bachelor parties or for any other reason. The parade can begin and end at Venusian Gardens.
Your parade can include six-piece Bourbon Street Brass Band so you parade in style. We take care of everything including permits and police escorts if required. As part of the entertainment package you one can add any of the performers reviewed above, including a Grand Marshall, Mardi Gras Style Revelers, Big Heads, Stilt Walkers, Mardi Gras Indians and others.
