Venusian Botanica
A large body of work in the Venusian World Sculpture Collection are the sculptures representing the luminous plant life. These works are manifest in various styles based on the blown glass component primarily but the neon unit generally follows a style that correlates with the series.
The Swamp Flower series is characterized by blown glass elements that are vase-like, taller than they are wide. The neon transillulminates the glass and emerges in colorful, graceful shapes. The Swamp Lotus Series is notable for the blown glass in curvaceous shallow bowl-like shapes with the neon component emerging from its center. The Clamora, shaped somewhat like clams, have neon units with dual arms.
Interchangeable Components
The Venusian Botanica Series incorporate an easily interchangeable component-based system in which the individual glass and neon elements can be mounted on a variety of different bases.
V. Flora Series
The original botanica series in the Venusian World, this series consists only of brushed aluminum “leaves” and neon with no blown glass components.
Swamp Flower Series
The Swamp Flower series is the first series to include the interchangeable elements of a base with blown glass forms (vase-like) and neon.
Swamp Lotus Series
This series, like the Swamp Flowers and the Clamora, include a base with neon and a blown glass form in which the Lotus form is distinguished by its bowl-like shape.
V. Clamora Series
The Clamora Series includes a base with neon and a blown glass form with a clam-like shape.
Grotto Blossom Series
The Grotto Blossoms are characterized by a heavy irregular shaped shallow bowl-liks form mounted in a brushed aluminum base with a central neon unit.

Bayou Bloom Series
The Bayou Bloom is like an inverted Swamp Lotus with a neon unit emerging from the center of a bowl-like blown glass form. However, the inverted glass form serves as a base and is trans-illuminated by another neon unit.
